Travel info: practical information | Arrival Departure

You can park your car in the parking lot at restaurant 't Vonder. The address of restaurant 't Vonder is Binnenpad 14. From here it is approximately 400 meters to the park. This is the closest parking place. Giethoorn has a car-free village center, this is good to know, so you will not be confronted with surprises on the spot.

You will receive a parking ticket upon check-in, so that you can use the parking lot at 't Vonder free of charge. There is a parking ticket available at every home, this is valid for one car. Two parking tickets are available for the 12-person home. The parking tickets can be used indefinitely during your holiday or weekend away.

Public transport:
Are you coming by public transport? Then you travel by train to Steenwijk Station. From Station Steenwijk, bus 70 (Zwolle via Zwartsluis) goes in the direction of Giethoorn. You can get off at the Dominee Hylkemaweg bus stop. From here it is 1.5 km / 20 minutes to the Holiday Park.

Note: If you are driving with a TOMTOM or navigation, we will drive to the address Binnenpad 14, 8335 BR, Giethoorn. This is the address of Restaurant ‘t Vonder, the location where you can park your car during your stay.

Arrival: on the day of arrival you can check in between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on. If you arrive at a later time, please contact the reception on the telephone number: +31 (0) 521 361332.

Departure: on the day of departure you can check out until 10 am.

After you have left, the housekeeping department checks your holiday residence and possibly the boat for hygiene, inventory defects and damage. This final inspection is the reason that we charge a guarantee of € 65 / € 100 per holiday residence per period. If you leave the holiday accommodation in accordance with our regulations and your IBAN is known, we will transfer this amount to you 14 days after departure. If the housekeeping department has to carry out (cleaning) work, (part of) the deposit will be withheld.
